Description

Description

Description: The monoclonal mouse IgG2b is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin. Applications Reported: This eBMG2b antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This eBMG2b antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This should be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody. Super Bright 436 can be excited with the violet laser line (405 nm) and emits at 436 nm. We recommend using a 450/50 bandpass filter, or equivalent. Please make sure that your instrument is capable of detecting this fluorochrome. When using two or more Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies in a staining panel, it is recommended to use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize any non-specific polymer interactions. Please refer to the datasheet for Super Bright Staining Buffer for more information. Excitation: 405 nm; Emission: 436 nm; Laser: Violet Laser Super Bright Polymer Dyes are sold under license from Becton, Dickinson and Company.

Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody that is produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in the serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response. Mouse IgG2b is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains, and it is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It is also involved in the regulation of immune responses, including the activation of T cells and the inhibition of B cell activation. Mouse IgG2b is widely used in research and diagnostic applications, including ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry. It is also used in therapeutic applications, such as immunotherapy and vaccine development.
