R&D Systems™ Mouse LOX-1/OLR1 (NP_619589) VersaClone cDNA
Description
- Also known as: LOX-1; SR-EI; Scare1
- OLR1 is a low density lipoprotein receptor that belongs to the C-type lectin superfamily.
- It is regulated through the cyclic AMP signaling pathway. OLR1 binds, internalizes and degrades oxidized low-density lipoprotein.
- It may be involved in the regulation of Fas-induced apoptosis and may play a role as a scavenger receptor.
- Mutations of OLR1 have been associated with atherosclerosis, risk of myocardial infarction, and may modify the risk of Alzheimer's disease.
- The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
- For reasearch use only. Not for use in humans.
