Description

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • The OCIL/CLEC2d insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
  • CLEC2D is a type II transmembrane protein belonging to the natural killer cell receptor C-type lectin family.
  • It is found on hematopoietic cells, osteoblasts, and chondrocytes.
  • CLEC2D inhibits osteoclast formation and contains a transmembrane domain near the Nterminus as well as the C-type lectin-like extracellular domain.
