Description

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • The OSMR beta insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
  • OSMR is a member of the type I cytokine receptor family.
  • It heterodimerizes with interleukin 6 signal transducer to form the type II oncostatin M receptor and with interleukin 31 receptor A to form the interleukin 31 receptor, and thus transduces oncostatin M and interleukin 31 induced signaling events.
  • Mutations in OSMR have been associated with familial primary localized cutaneous amyloidosis.
