Description

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • VCAM1 is a member of the Ig superfamily and is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed by cytokine-activated endothelium.
  • It is a type I membrane protein that mediates leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction and may play a role in the development of artherosclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
  • The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
