Description

Synthetic defined yeast media with all necessary components for selective growth of Saccharomyces cerevisiae

  • Each SD formulation contains the appropriate CSM-based amino acid mixture and 1.7g/liter YNB, 5 g/liter Ammonium Sulfate, and 20g/liter Dextrose
  • Triple dropout formulation
  • Pouches

Formulation

  • Add contents of the pouch (13.7g) to 500mL of distilled, deionized water
  • Add agar 17g/L if pouring plates
  • Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes for complete synthetic defined drop-out medium for the growth of S.cerevisiae
