A medium for antimicrobial susceptibility testing by the disc diffusion technique, according to CLSI and EUCAST

  • With increasing antimicrobial resistance, AST of aerobic bacteria becomes more relevant. Mueller Hinton II Agar permits excellent growth of most aerobic bacteria.
  • This medium is formulated to have low levels of thymine and thymidine and is adjusted to the calcium and magnesium ions concentrations.
