Description

These lightweight and shatter-resistant Nalgene™ Media Bottles feature ideal gas barrier properties for the storage and shipping of liquid media, buffers, and sera.

  • PET with natural HDPE closure
  • Space saving square design
  • Molded in graduations and neck ring for use with tamper evident shrink sleeves
  • Sterile, non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic
  • Strong gas barrier, with transparency and reduced permeability to CO2 and O2
  • Bottle and closure material are ADCF (Animal Derived Component Free)
  • Products are packaged in shrink-wrap trays
  • Trays are double polybagged inside the master carton

†The term 'leakproof' applies to Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ products that meet the following criteria: a) Bottle/flask/funnel closure systems with closures smaller than 100 mm, after they are filled with water, inverted, withstand air pressure of 2 psig for 2 minutes, and no water escapes; b) Bottle/funnel/flask closure systems of larger than 100 mm after they are filled with water, inverted for 15 minutes, and no water escapes. Note: these tests, using other liquids, may not yield the same results. To ensure safe usage, customers are advised to test Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ bottles and closures under conditions of their planned applications. Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ products are leakproof at ambient temperature and pressure when used with their Nalgene closures.
