Description

The NanoBRET Positive Control Vector encodes a NanoLuc-HaloTag™ fusion protein that tethers together the NanoLuc donor and HaloTag™ acceptor proteins to ensure efficient energy transfer.

  • NanoLuc™-HaloTag™ fusion gene
  • Kanamycin resistance gene for selection in bacteria
  • A CMV promoter for high-level expression of NanoLuc™-HaloTag™ fusion in mammalian cells

The NanoBRET™ Positive Control Vector should be diluted in Transfection Carrier DNA to reduce cellular expression levels due to the high NanoBRET™ signal produced. The control vector can be used when performing instrument setup or as a reference control when performing other NanoBRET™ assays.
