  • Glass tube is filled with neon gas at reduced pressure
  • Pass the wand through high-frequency or high-voltage field and the neon will glow a vivid red
  • Same effect can be produced with by holding the wand within the corona discharge of a pointed object
  • Use with Tesla Coil (S43505) or Small Van de Graaff Generator (S68854)
