Used as granulated medium for cultivation of E. coli on scales ranging from small cultures to fermentation. MilliporeSigma™; Novagen™ LB Broth, Miller granules ensure rapid and uniform dissolution in water.

  • Prevents clumping of medium and inhalation of airborne powder
  • Supplied in several formats
  • EasyPak is aluminum foil pouch containing 25g granulated medium sufficient for 1L culture
  • Add EasyPak contents to 1L water, microwave for 2 minutes to dissolve agar and sterilize
  • Supplied in 500g and 5kg bottles
  • Composition of LB Agar MILLER per liter is 5g yeast extract, 10g peptone from casein, 10g sodium chloride
