A Bolt™ Mini Gel Tank is required for use of all Bolt gels.

A proprietary reagent that maintains proteins in a reduced state during protein gel electrophoresis

Bolt Antioxidant migrates with reduced proteins to maintain reducing conditions and to prevent re-oxidation of sensitive amino acids such as methionine and tryptophan. Bolt Antioxidant must be used with samples reduced using Bolt Sample Reducing Agent or other reducing agent.

  • Optimized for neutral pH of Bolt Bis-Tris Plus gels and is not compatible with other gel chemistries
  • Can also be used with Bolt Transfer Buffer to enhance transfer of reduced proteins to membranes when using Mini Blot Module
