Omburtamab is a monoclonal antibody that targets the B7-H3 antigen expressed in a variety of human solid tumors. Omburtamab (alias: 8H9, former name: Burtomab) is a monoclonal antibody that is linked to a radioisotope and can bind to the B7-H3 antigen on the surface of neuroblastoma cells. It is injected directly into the cerebrospinal fluid to bypass the blood-brain barrier and accurately target neuroblastoma in the central nervous system to avoid damage to other tissues (such as learning disabilities and developmental delays often caused by conventional radiotherapy outside the brain).
