Combine this oil-free, diaphragm vacuum pump with a collection bottle to create a portable waste aspiration system and rapidly remove supernatant from a variety of cell culture or multiwell plates and dishes. The vacuum system can also be used as a stand-alone pump for vacuum-assisted filtration applications like bottletop and vacuum manifold filtration.

Compact size makes the vacuum system easily portable and allows for placement in an individual workstation or under a hood. A 0.45-μm hydrophobic, in-line filter protects from overfilling or fluid aspiration into the pump—ideal for filtering hazardous samples too dangerous for house lines, and as the vacuum source for waste aspiration systems. Couple with any glass or plastic collection bottle or flask—like the Mini-Vac waste collection bottle—and empty a 2-liter bottle of waste in 40 seconds!

The HandE-Vac handheld aspirator (included) lets you control the vacuum pressure and speed by manually adjusting aperture button. An adapter for a single channel pipette is included; order different adapters for aspiration of multiwell plates and Pasteur pipettes. *Collection bottle used with the P-Vac vacuum system should not exceed 2 liters.
