Acid digestion bomb for organic and inorganic analytical samples

For use at high temperatures and pressures.

  • Stainless-steel body
  • PTFE liner with spring-loaded closures
  • Operates at up to 250°C (482°F) and 1900psig
  • Include safety rupture discs (4749, 4744 and 4748 only)

Applications:

Dissolves both organic and inorganic analytical samples, good for digesting alumina samples or reactants of unknown behavior, useful for complete containment of volatile chemicals, safety rupture disc in bomb head blows out to release pressure through opening in cover.
