Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: human HEPG2 whole cell, human Hela whole cell, human HEK293 whole cell, human A431 whole cell, monkey COS-7 whole cell, rat kidney tissue, mouse kidney tissue, mouse Neuro-2a whole cell. IHC: human prostate cancer tissue, human breast cancer tissue, human retcal cancer tissue. ICC/IF: HEPG2 cell. Flow: MCF-7 cell. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

This gene encodes a member of the phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase (GTP) family. The protein is a mitochondrial enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of oxaloacetate to phosphoenolpyruvate in the presence of GTP. A cytosolic form encoded by a different gene has also been characterized and is the key enzyme of gluconeogenesis in the liver. The encoded protein may serve a similar function, although it is constitutively expressed and not modulated by hormones such as glucagon and insulin that regulate the cytosolic form. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
