Invitrogen™ PCSK1 Polyclonal Antibody

Description
PA1-057 detects prohormone convertase 1 (PC1) from mouse pituitary extract. PA1-057 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. By Western blot, this antibody detects an ~80 kDa protein representing PC1 from mouse pituitary extract. The PA1-057 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues S(111) V Q K D S A L D L F N D P M W N(127) of mouse PC1. This sequence is 88% and 82% conserved bovine and rat, respectively. The PA1-057 immunizing peptide (Cat. # PEP-164) is available for use in neutralization and control experiments.
