Description

Benchtop robotic workstation designed for post and pre-analytical management of specimen tubes

The PathFinder 350A:
  • Foil-sealing of tubes: the system can apply a laminated foil cap (heat welded) to tubes, enabling safe storage, transport or freezing (down to -80°C) without risk of leakage
  • Barcode tracking and storage: Each storage rack is barcode-coded, and the system records tube location, enabling retrieval
  • Reduces repetitive strain / injury from manual capping and reduces human error in archiving
The PathFinder 350D:
  • Automates decapping of primary tubes from all major tube manufacturers (both screw‐cap and plug‐cap types) and subsequent sorting
  • Reduces manual handling, reduces risk of repetitive strain injuries, reduces biohazard exposure
  • Tube barcode reading, routing logic, and sorting into analyzer racks or storage, aligned to the labs LIS or workflow
