Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA5-11364 targets Phospho-HER-2 pTyr1248 in IF, IHC, and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human and Rat samples. The MA5-11364 immunogen is tyrosine-phosphorylated synthetic peptide corresponding to aa1242-1255 [Lys-TAENPE-pY-LGLDVPV] from the C-terminus of human c-erbB-2 protein (P-Tyr1248).

ErbB2 (HER2) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that is overexpressed in some breast tumors. Herceptin, used in treatment of metastatic Her2-positive cancer, is monoclonal antibody targeting this kinase.
