Crosslink sulfhydryls to periodate-treated glycoprotein sugars with this mid-length (11.8A) crosslinker containing maleimide and hydrazide groups.

Thermo Scientific™ Pierce EMCH is a mid-length, maleimide-and-hydrazide crosslinker for conjugating sulfhydryls (cysteines) to carbonyls (aldehyde or ketones, such as those formed by oxidation of glycoprotein carbohydrates).

  • Sulfhydryl- and oxidized carbohydrate-reactive agent
  • Covalently couple the hydrazide group of EMCH to glycoproteins and other glycoconjugates after oxidation with sodium meta-periodate
