Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: Rat Brain Tissue, Rat Kidney Tissue, MCF-7 Cell, HT1080 Cell, SMMC Cell. IHC: Human Mammary Cancer Tissue. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Pleiotrophin (PTN) is an 18 kDa secreted heparin and chondroitin-binding protein that is a regulatory cytokine critical to the early development of blood vessels and neurons. High PTN serum levels are associated with a variety of solid tumors. It was shown that patients with multiple myeloma (MM) also have elevated serum levels of this protein. The expression of this protein is very limited in normal adult tissues.
