Use these high-quality PVC-free port disks with hose barb to transfer fluids, buffers, media, and drug compounds from single-use bags used in pharmaceutical and medical industries. Ultrasonic, radio frequency, or thermal weld port disks to Kynar medical and bioreactor bags to easily transfer fluids. Port disks with mini dome feature dimples on the base for easier welding. Dimples offer more materials to melt to the bag, creating a stronger bond.
Natural Kynar Flex exhibits excellent chemical resistance, UV resistance, and high purity. Kynar Flex offers slightly more flexibility compared to regular Kynar, minimizing the risk of it cracking with sideload.
Disks are manufactured, double bagged, and sealed in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom to ensure that the integrity is not compromised. An ISO Class 7 cleanroom utilizes HEPA filtration systems to maintain air cleanliness levels of less than 10,000 particles of 0.5 µm or larger per cubic foot.
