Premoistened wipers are designed for use in cleanrooms (ISO Class 5-8) with four clean-cut edges prevent loose fibers, unlike perforated wipers

  • The wipers come pre-moistened with a solution, typically a blend of 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and 30% deionized (DI) water.
  • This eliminates the need for separate solvents, saving time and ensuring consistent, controlled application.
  • Made from materials like polyester cellulose or polypropylene, these wipers are specifically designed to have extremely low particle generation
  • The clean-cut or heat-sealed edges prevent fiber shedding, which is critical for maintaining ISO Class 5-8 cleanroom environments.
  • The sealed, pop-up style dispensers or resealable pouches allow for easy, one-handed access to a fresh, moist wiper, preventing them from drying out and ensuring they are ready to use at a moment's notice.
  • Many of these premoistened wipers meet stringent standards, such as USP 797 and USP 800, which are crucial for applications in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare industries where sterile compounding is performed.
