Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA1-10597 detects Prolactin from human, mouse, rat, bovine, ovine and squirrel monkey samples. MA1-10597 has been successfully used in ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and Western blot applications. The MA1-10597 immunogen is sheep and human Prolactin.

Prolactin (PRL) is a pituitary hormone involved in the stimulation of milk production, salt and water regulation, growth, development and reproduction. PRL exerts its influence on different cell types through a signal transduction pathway which begins with the binding of the hormone to a transmembrane PRL receptor.
