[Arg8]-Vasopressin (also known as antidiuretic hormone, or ADH) is a naturally occurring antidiuretic peptide hormone that acts as a neurotransmitter in the brain and released from the posterior pituitary and median eminence. It is involved in water and electrolyte homeostasis, vasodepression, and memory. Provided as 1 mg of dry powder. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter,  PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
