Description

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • CNTFR is a member of the type 1 cytokine receptor family.
  • CNTFR is the ligand-specific component of a tripartite receptor for ciliary neurotrophic factor, which plays a critical role in neuronal cell survival, differentiation and gene expression.
  • Binding of ciliary neurotrophic factor to CNTFR recruits the transmembrane components of the receptor, gp130 and leukemia inhibitory factor receptor, facilitating signal transduction.
  • The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
