Recombinant Protein

This protein binds to keratinocytes and most parenchymal epithelial cells; binds specific splice variant of FGF receptor expressed in epithelial cells (FGFr2IIIb). Dilute with either 0.1% TFA/40% acetonitrile or PBS/0.1% CHAPS for best stability and to prevent absorption of product on walls of vessels.

Plays an important role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation and cell differentiation. Required for normal branching morphogenesis. Growth factor active on keratinocytes. Possible major paracrine effector of normal epithelial cell proliferation.
