Apexbio Technology LLC GM-CSF, murine recombinant(Synonyms: Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor murine recombinant), 5ug.

Supplier: Apexbio Technology LLC P10130.005

Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) is a cytokine produced by various cell types including activated T and B lymphocytes, macrophages, mast cells, endothelial cells, and fibroblasts in response to immunologic or inflammatory stimuli. Murine GM-CSF supports proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic progenitor cells, particularly granulocyte-macrophage precursors, and influences non-hematopoietic cellular functions such as endothelial cell migration and proliferation. Sharing approximately 54% sequence homology with human GM-CSF, murine GM-CSF lacks cross-species biological activity. It is widely utilized in biomedical research models to study hematopoiesis, inflammatory responses, and tumor biology, and holds potential as a therapeutic adjuvant for enhancing immune responses during vaccine development studies.
