Structural Form This recombinant protein is prone to proteolytic degradation at the C-terminus, resulting in proteins with molecular masses of 22.2 - 22.8 kDa.
Endotoxin Concentration <0.1 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Conjugate Unconjugated
Recombinant Recombinant
Activity Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF-1 human erythroleukemic cells. Kitamura, T. et al. (1989) J. Cell Physiol. 140:323. The ED50 for this effect is 0.03-0.18 μg/mL. The proliferative effect can be enhanced up to 100-fold by the addition of Recombinant Human CNTF R alpha (Catalog # 303-CR ) .
Purity or Quality Grade 97%, by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
