Eurofins Discoverx Recombinant Human CXCL8, 5 µg. (92-1009)
Supplier: Eurofins Discoverx 921009

CXCL8, aka IL-8, is a cytokine protein produced by macrophages and other cells such as epithelial cells, endothelial cells, and airway myocytes. IL-8 is able to induce chemotaxis in neutrophils and granulocytes, attracting them to the site of damage or infection. IL-8 can also induce phagocytosis of foreign debris, and is known to be a potent promoter of angiogenesis. It is an agonist for CXCR1 and CXCR2, with more affinity for the former. Provided as 5 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits. Ligands are conveniently supplied with a recommended reconstitution buffer. For detailed information and product-specific datasheet, visit www.discoverx.com/ligands.
