Rat Monoclonal Antibody

CD153 (TNFSF8) Monoclonal Antibody Specifically detects CD153 (TNFSF8) in Mouse Samples. It is validated for Flow Cytometry.

The RM153 monoclonal antibody recognizes a 40-kDa type-II membrane glycoprotein, CD30 ligand (CD30L or CD153), part of the NGF/TNF superfamily. This antibody stimulates B-cell proliferation, antigen-specific antibody production, and polyclonal immunoglobulin secretion in the presence of cytokines, and costimulates activated T cell proliferation. CD153 is expressed on activated T cells (predominantly CD4+), activated EL4 cells, and activated Th1 and Th2 cells. The RM153 monoclonal antibody inhibits CD153 binding to CD30. It is conjugated with BD Horizon RealYellow 655 (RY655) Dye, a yellow-green tandem fluorochrome with an excitation maximum at 557 nm and an emission maximum at 654 nm. RY655 can be used on both spectral and conventional cytometers, designed for excitation by the 561-nm Yellow-Green laser. It serves as an alternative to PE-Cy5 on conventional instruments with a Yellow-Green laser, with a recommended optical filter centered near 660 nm (e.g., 660/30-nm or 670/30-nm bandpass filter). On conventional and spectral instruments with both Blue (488-nm) and Yellow-Green (561-nm) lasers and appropriate detectors, it can be used with RB670.
