EphJ2 Monoclonal Antibody Specifically detects EphJ2 in Human Samples. It is validated for Flow Cytometry.

The 371805 monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes Ephrin type-A receptor 2 (EphJ2). EphJ2 is a ~130 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein encoded by EPHJ2, belonging to the ephrin receptor subfamily within the receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) family. It's also known as Epithelial cell kinase (ECK) or Epithelial cell receptor protein tyrosine kinase. Its extracellular region includes an N-terminal globular domain, a cysteine-rich domain, and 2 fibronectin type III repeats, while the cytoplasmic domain has two tyrosine residues that act as major autophosphorylation sites and a kinase domain. EphJ2 is expressed by epithelial cells, dendritic cells, Langerhans cells, keratinocytes, and endothelial cells. It functions as a receptor for glycophosphatidylinositol (GPI) membrane-linked Ephrin-A family members (A1-A5) and is involved in regulating cellular growth, adhesion, migration, survival, and angiogenesis. Its expression can be upregulated on vascular endothelium in certain breast, prostate, and colon cancers, and on some metastatic tumor cells.
