Description

The SafeCide™ 2.1 is a tablet based portable monitor designed for real time detection and logging of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) vapor concentrations up to 20 ppm with 0.1 ppm resolution.

It features dual operation modes:

  • Environmental Sampling Mode for detecting leaks and hot spots
  • Industrial Hygiene Mode for calculating 8 hour and 15 minute time weighted averages (TWA)

Key features include:

  • A tablet display with built-in SafeCide 2.1 software offering easy viewing of real time readings, summary dashboards, and data export to CSV.
  • Bluetooth connectivity, automatic sensor reconnection, low battery and calibration alerts, and support for multiple user credentials or guest mode.
  • Customizable visual (green/yellow/red) and audible alarms to warn when exposure limits are exceeded.
  • E Cell™ sensor modules backed by ChemDAQ's Sensor Exchange Program (SXP™), automatically reminding users when calibration is due.

This rugged handheld tablet kit is ideal for spot-checking facility environments or performing personal monitoring, especially in sterilization and hygiene-critical settings such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and food processing. It helps ensure compliance, enhance safety, and simplify reporting.
