Description

Replacement air cylinders with valve.

Stealth™ Cylinders. The lightest air cylinders ever developed by MSA, Stealth series cylinders incorporate a high-performance, carbon-fiber outerwrap that reduces cylinder weight by as much as two to six pounds when compared to fiberglass composite cylinders and as much as 10 pounds when compared to aluminum construction. Available in six pressure/duration models with and without a valve. Fiberglass Hoop-Wound Cylinder. Weighs more than fully wound composite cylinders and is only available as a low-pressure, 30 min. cylinder. 3AL Cylinder. Designed for customers who use SCBAs infrequently, this all-aluminum cylinder is heavier than carbon-fiber or fiberglass composite cylinders. Unlike composite cylinders, however, this aluminum cylinder does not have to be retired after 15 years provided that it still meets periodic hydrotest requirements. Available only as a low-pressure, 30-min. cylinder with and without a valve.
