Description
Offer emergency respirator protection for personnel engaged in industrial, Haz Mat, and firefighting operations. Ideal for use in hazardous atmospheres, including those identified as Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH)—i.e., environments with little or no oxygen, with high concentrations of contaminants, or where concentrations of contaminants are unknown.
Choice of AV-2000™ compact, lightweight facepiece with dual voicemitters or Scott-O-Vista™ full-facepiece with cone-shaped lens and net style head harness. Ska-Pak 10-minute Entry/Egress SCBA. Ideal for confined spaces, emergency escape from large industrial plants, Haz Mat remediation applications, and firefighting involving aerial ladders with an air supply line. Unit features a 4500psi high pressure air cylinder that provides 10 minutes of breathable air for entering or exiting hazardous environments. Slim cylinder is constructed of lightweight aluminum with fiberglass overwrap for greater comfort, less fatigue, and personal endurance in labor-intense environments. Aluminum construction enhances service life, eliminating the possibility of internal rust or loose scale. Cylinder is mounted securely on SCBA harness and worn on the hip. Lightweight and low profile design allows easy movement. L × dia. of cylinder: 18 1/4 × 3 7/8 in. (46 × 10cm). Ska-Pak harness is constructed of your choice of either Kevlar or polypropylene webbing and consists of an adjustable shoulder strap and waist belt. Both are equipped with corrosion-resistant web adjusters and quick-release buckles for a secure, comfortable fit and easy donning and doffing. Comes with E-Z Flo™ regulator to control airflow in excess of 200L/minute and airline connection with your choice of Hansen or Schrader fittings. Available with your choice of AV-2000 or Scott-O-Vista facepiece. System weight with AV-2000 facepiece: 10 1/8 lb. (4.6kg); with Scott-O-Vista facepiece: 9 7/8 lb. (4.5kg). All 5-minute Ska-Pak SCBAs come withE-Z Flo regulator, airline connection with your choice of Hansen or Schrader fittings, and your choice of either the AV-2000 or Scott-O-Vista facepiece.
