Human Hsp47 shares 97% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with both mouse and rat Hsp47. Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: human A431 whole cell, human SK-N-SH whole cell, human Hela whole cell, rat lung tissue, rat kidney tissue, rat L6 whole cell, mouse lung tissue, mouse NIH/3T3 whole cell. IHC: human breast cancer tissue, human endometrial adenocarcinoma tissue, human esophageal squamous carcinoma tissue, human liver cancer tissue, human spleen tissue, human lung adenocarcinoma tissue. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

SERPINH1 is a member of the serpin superfamily of serine proteinase inhibitors, and its expression is induced by heat shock. The SERPINH1 protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen and binds collagen; thus it is thought to be a molecular chaperone involved in the maturation of collagen molecules. Autoantibodies to SERPINH1 have been found in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
