It's surface tension tends to increase with an increase in the viscosity.Silicone oil can be used for a variety of applications such as: heat transferring medium in chemical and petrochemical industries, a dielectric coolant, a lubricant and antiflatulent agent, protective coatings for building materials, a cosmetic additive.
