Description

Description

The Steri-Trac™ 2+ Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) Monitor provides real-time, fixed-area detection of airborne hydrogen peroxide vapors in disinfection and sterilization environments. Designed for facilities that use vaporized H2O2 (VHP) for sterilization, this monitor ensures personnel safety and helps maintain compliance with exposure limits. Mounted securely with a durable steel swivel wall mount, the unit offers flexible positioning for optimal visibility and detection. The system is ideal for cleanrooms, sterile processing departments (SPDs), laboratories, and pharmaceutical manufacturing areas where vaporized hydrogen peroxide is commonly used.

Key Features

  • Continuous Hydrogen Peroxide Monitoring The Steri-Trac™ 2+ continuously detects H2O2 vapor in ambient air and displays real-time readings on a bright, easy-to-read display. The system provides both instantaneous concentration and time-weighted average (TWA) exposure information, helping facilities maintain safety standards and comply with OSHA and ACGIH exposure limits.
  • Steel Swivel Wall Mount The included steel swivel mount enables the unit to be securely installed on a wall while allowing for easy adjustment of the monitor's angle. This ensures maximum visibility for personnel and optimal air sampling from high-risk zones such as sterilizer doors, prep areas, and aeration rooms.
  • Sensor Exchange Program (SXP™) Compatible This monitor supports ChemDAQ's Sensor Exchange Program (SXP™), allowing fast, tool-free replacement of pre-calibrated sensors. With no on-site calibration needed, you reduce downtime and always ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Built-In Audible and Visual Alarms The unit includes a multi-color LED status light and an integrated loud buzzer to provide immediate visual and audible alerts when hydrogen peroxide levels exceed safe thresholds. Alarm levels are user-configurable based on your safety protocol.
  • Facility System Integration The Steri-Trac™ 2+ supports 4–20 mA analog output, Modbus, and dry contact relays, allowing it to connect seamlessly to building management systems (BMS), external alarms, or ChemDAQ's Data Acquisition System (DAQ™) for centralized data logging and monitoring.

Hydrogen peroxide is a powerful sterilant—but also a respiratory hazard. With the Steri-Trac™ 2+ Hydrogen Peroxide Monitor, facilities gain real-time protection against unsafe vapor levels, ensuring compliance with exposure limits and peace of mind for staff. This monitor is engineered for simplicity, reliability, and flexibility. The steel swivel mount allows you to optimize visibility and access, while SXP™ sensors ensure the system is always operating at peak accuracy. It's the go-to solution for facilities that can't compromise on safety.
