The Steri-Trac™ 2+ Intrinsically Safe Package for LEL monitoring is a specialized gas detection solution designed for real-time detection of combustible gases at concentrations approaching the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL). This complete safety package includes a Steri-Trac™ 2+ Monitor, Intrinsically Safe (IS) Barrier Unit, and a Remote Sensor Mount, making it ideal for use in Class I, Division 1 or 2 hazardous locations where the potential for flammable gas accumulation exists. Designed to protect personnel and facilities from explosion hazards, this system is widely used in chemical processing, manufacturing, sterilization environments using flammable gases, and other classified industrial areas.

- Real-Time LEL Detection: Continuously monitors the air for the presence of flammable gases and vapors and displays their concentration as a percentage of the LEL. The system provides rapid alerts if gas levels approach dangerous thresholds, enabling fast evacuation or mitigation response.

- Sensor Exchange Program (SXP™): Designed to work with ChemDAQ's SXP™ system, the sensor can be hot swapped with a pre-calibrated replacement, significantly reducing downtime and eliminating the need for on-site calibration.
- Customizable Alarms: Bright tri-color LEDs and a high-decibel buzzer provide both visual and audible alerts. Users can configure alarms based on their facility's specific safety standards, including low-level warnings and high-level emergency thresholds.
- System Integration Ready: The monitor supports 4–20 mA analog output, Modbus, and dry contact relays for connection to building management systems (BMS), safety interlocks, emergency shutoff valves, and ChemDAQ's Data Acquisition System (DAQ).
