The Steri-Trac™ 2+ Peracetic Acid (PAA) Monitor is a fixed, real-time gas detection system designed to measure airborne concentrations of peracetic acid used in sterilization and disinfection processes. - Real-Time Peracetic Acid Monitoring The Steri-Trac™ 2+ continuously detects and displays peracetic acid levels in parts per million (ppm). It provides immediate visual and audible alarms when preset thresholds are exceeded, helping prevent overexposure and maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
- Steel Swivel Wall Mount This version includes a heavy-duty steel swivel mount that allows the monitor to be securely fixed to a wall while enabling flexible adjustment. The swivel feature makes it easy to reposition the display unit for visibility, access, or space constraints.
- Remote Sensor Compatibility The system is compatible with ChemDAQ's remote sensor mount (sold separately), allowing the sensor to be installed closer to the point of exposure, such as in sterilizers, cleanrooms, or disinfection chambers.
- Instantaneous & Time-Weighted Average (TWA) Readings In addition to real-time concentration display, the monitor calculates 8-hour and 15-minute TWAs, supporting compliance with regulatory bodies such as OSHA, ACGIH, and NIOSH.
- Sensor Exchange Program (SXP™) The monitor supports ChemDAQ's Sensor Exchange Program, which allows for quick replacement of pre-calibrated, hot-swappable sensor modules. This minimizes downtime, eliminates the need for in-house calibration, and ensures ongoing measurement accuracy.
- Customizable Visual and Audible Alarms With multicolor LED indicators (green/yellow/red) and a built-in buzzer, the monitor provides clear, immediate alerts for elevated PAA levels. Alarm settings are customizable based on facility thresholds and operational requirements.
- System Integration The Steri-Trac™ 2+ can be integrated with facility safety systems using Modbus, 4–20 mA analog outputs, or dry contact relays. This enables automatic activation of ventilation, alarms, abatement systems, or other safety controls when PAA levels rise.
