StrepMAB-Immo DY-549 is a murine monoclonal antibody conjugated to a fluorescent dye. It has a high affinity to Strep-tag and Twin-Strep-tag fusion proteins, and can be used for detection in ELISA, FACS, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry.For proteins carrying the Strep-tag with an N-terminal Serine-Alanine linker (protein-SA-WSHPQFEK or SA-WSHPQFEK-protein), the binding affinity is in the pM range. Proteins with other N-terminal sequences bind with a reduced affinity. The Twin-Strep-tag includes an N-terminal SA-linker (WSHPQFEK-GGGS-GGGS-GGSA-WSHPQFEK).The absorption/emission maxima of the fluorescent dye is 550-560/575 nm
