Spectrum™ Chemical Sulfuric Acid, 66 °Be, Technical is an extremely corrosive acid that comes as a yellowish slightly viscous liquid. It is soluble in water and is a diprotic acid. It has very strong corrosive, dehydrating and oxidizing properties as well as being hygroscopic. It uses range from detergent production, antifreeze, pharmaceuticals and fertilizers to cellophane, lubricants and production of explosives. Technical grade products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use. These materials may or may not have a Certificate of Analysis available.
