SuperScript IV CellsDirect Lysis Reagents are optimized for synthesizing first-strand cDNA directly from a mammalian cell lysate without first isolating RNA.

Features of SuperScript IV CellsDirect Lysis Reagents include:
• Ready-to-use pre-mixed cell lysis solution compatible with a variety of cell-types
• Optimized performance for 1–10,000 cells per sample; results equivalent to those from purified RNA

Note: This procedure is optimized for a maximum of 10,000 cells per reaction. If needed, volumes can be adjusted for cell numbers greater than 10,000. Using too many cells per lysis reaction can result in incomplete lysis and/or inhibition of RT-PCR.
