Description

T4 RNA Ligase II (gp24.1) repairs nicks in dsRNA and can also be used to ligate the 3' terminal OH of RNA to the 5'-terminal phosphate of DNA in a double-stranded structure.

  • T4 RNA Ligase 2 will also join the 3'-end of RNA or DNA to a 5'-pDNA when annealed to an RNA complement, and, with reduced efficiency, the 3'-end of RNA to a 5'-pRNA when annealed to a DNA complement.
