Perform on-column desulfonation of converted DNA that has been bound to the membrane of a micro column. Thermo Scientific™ Desulfonation Buffer for EpiJET™ Bisulfite Conversion Kit provides additional reagent for use in bisulfite conversion of DNA for methylation analysis.

Thermo Scientific™ EpiJET™ Binding Buffer is a component of the EpiJET Bisulfite Conversion Kit and may be purchased separately when additional buffer is needed.

The EpiJET Bisulfite Conversion Kit is designed for simple and reliable bisulfite conversion of DNA for methylation analysis. The kit integrates the thermal DNA denaturation and the bisulfite conversion reactions into one step. This step can be performed following long or short protocol, depending on the downstream application. The converted DNA is bound to a membrane for on-column desulfonation and subsequent purification steps, and then eluted. The resulting elution of the converted DNA is suitable for a number of techniques used in methylation status analysis, including PCR, qPCR, COBRA and sequencing.
