Invitrogen™ TIM-1 Polyclonal Antibody

Description
In Western blot, this antibody detects a band at ~49kDa in human uterus tissue lysate. Rabbit anti TIM-1 antibody detects T cell immunoglobulin mucin-1 (TIM-1), which was first identified as the receptor used by hepatitis A for viral entry, it is also known as the hepatitis A virus cellular receptor- HAVCR (Curtiss and Colgan 2007), TIM -1 also acts as a receptor for other viruses, including Dengue, Ebola and Marburg (Kondratowicz et al. 2011).
