Consists of piston-type Teflon pestle with stainless steel shaft and replaceable grinding vessel of borosilicate glass Eliminates ground glass from homogenate; Teflon minimizes heat generated in use Completely autoclavable Precisely controlled grinding clearance Pestles and vessels interchangeable Precision-made for uniformity. Pestle shaft is 178 mm long with 4 mm diameter in sizes 0 and AA, 6mm diameter in larger sizes. Grinding vessel is a round bottom tube with 2 mm wall thickness, a chamber of precision bore tubing and a top reservoir with a pouring spout; unground walls are completely transparent.
