The MasterPress Tissue Tamper by MarketLab is a stainless steel tissue tamper used to flatten and compress tissue samples. It has a flat base plate measuring 3 x 1 inches and a handle that allows the user to apply even pressure. The tamper is autoclavable and can withstand temperatures up to 275°F. It is commonly used in histology labs to prepare tissue samples for microtomy and slide preparation. The tamper allows for quick flattening and evening of tissue samples prior to embedding.
