Invitrogen™ TNF alpha Monoclonal Antibody (MAb11), Biotin, eBioscience™, Invitrogen™

Description
Description: The MAb11 antibody reacts with human tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha ), a 17 kDa cytokine produced by monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, NK cells and CD4^+ T cells. TNF-alpha has cytolytic activity against a range of tumor cells and is important in immune regulation. TNF-alpha forms dimers and trimers and also exists as a 26 kDa membrane bound form. The MAb11 antibody is a neutralizing antibody. Applications Reported: The MAb11 antibody has been reported for use in detection of human TNF alpha by ELISA. Applications Tested: The MAb11 antibody has been tested as the detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA for analysis of human TNF-alpha (TNF-a, TNFa) in combination with the purified MAb1 (14-7348) antibody for capture and recombinant human TNFa (14-8329) as the standard. A suitable range of concentrations of this antibody for ELISA detection is 0.5-2 μg/mL. A standard curve consisting of doubling dilutions of the recombinant standard over the range of 1000 pg/mL - 8 pg/mL should be included in each ELISA plate. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
