TOV-112D is a human epithelial ovarian carcinoma cell line derived in 1992 from the ovary of a 42-year-old female with primary malignant adenocarcinoma. Supplied frozen for research use, the cell line is adherent, tumorigenic, and used in ovarian cancer studies.

- Adherent growth properties.
- Tumorigenic in nude mice; forms colonies in soft agar.
- Her2/neu positive; p53 Arg→His mutation (exon 6, codon 175).
- Karyotype: 52, XX, add(X)(p22), +add(1)(p22), +add(1)(p22), +2, +9, +12, add(15)(p11), +17.
- Recommended medium: 1:1 MCDB-105 and Medium 199 supplemented with 15% fetal bovine serum.
- Product supplied frozen; store in vapor phase of liquid nitrogen (≤ -130 °C).
- Mycoplasma not detected; STR profile available.
